The VA Hospital in Montrose is looking for volunteers to help out at their BBQ, and it is the same weekend as our fist campout. Our campout will be over at 8:30 am on Sunday the 23rd the BBQ starts at noon so if you want to help out our local veterans and earn some community service hours at the same time, please let me know as soon as possible so we can give them a head count. I understand it will be a long weekend of scouting but it would be nice for Troop 49 to participate in this event, the VA Hospital has not asked for our help since I have been involved with Troop 49.
